Belly Dance/Oriental or Raks Sharqi Level 1, Level 2
Class description
Come along to Beginners Belly Dance where you will learn the basics to get you moving your hips and whole body with hypnotic arabic rhythms. This class will get you familiar with the Middle Eastern rhythms, strengthen your posture, make you learn all the basic dance movements, increase your co-ordination as well as your confidence and importantly you will have a load of fun whilst loosing your inhibitions! No experience necessary.

Belly Dance Level 3, Intermediate Level
Class description
This is a class for those of you who have mastered all the basic technique. You must complete level 1 and level 2 belly dance classes to be able to attend this level. Here you will learn how to layer other moves on top of the basics. Expect to learn fast and exciting Tabla drum solos, choreographies to Classical songs, learn folklore styles like Saidi, Baladi, Melaya Leff, and also learn to dance with props like veils, canes, candle trays, swords , etc., We also train you to dance to live music with our band Baladi Beats. You will also have plenty of opportunities to perform!

Modern Belly Dance
Class description
This class gives you belly dance with a touch of funk. Incorporating the traditional steps of belly dance, it teaches you how to move like a goddess to modern music. The class is designed to get you moving like a belly dancer, but to some of your favorite tunes. Belly dancing improves your fitness, strengthens your core and posture, builds confidence. The steps are taught for all levels. Get ready to shake, twist and roll those hips!

Tribal Fusion
Tribal Fusion Belly Dance is a modern form of belly dance which has evolved from American Tribal Style (ATS) belly dancing, blending elements of ATS with any other style of dance. It frequently incorporates elements from Popping, Hip Hop, Breakdance, 'Egyptian' or 'Cabaret' belly dance, as well as from traditional forms such as Flamenco, Kathak, Bhangra, Balinese, and other folkloric dance styles.
What to wear
A fitted or mid-riff baring top — basically something that will allow you to see the movements of your stomach to ensure you are doing the moves correctly. Comfy pants or skirt. A long silky scarf that can be tied around your hips. Bare feet no need for dance shoes.

Bollywood Dance
This is a Bollywood class unlike any other. Bringing you the latest dance moves and hits straight from the home of Bollywood, India. We will teach you to pulse, grind and flick, just as they do in the movies. This dance class will focus on merging traditional Indian dance elements with the international influences of today. We will use props, translations and gestures to bring you as authentic a Bollywood experience as you can get, all while working up a sweat. Nothing combines sexiness with sweetness like Bollywood!
What to wear
Stretchy dance gear or comfortable exercise wear. No shoes necessary.

Hawaiian Hula
Get ready for an island experience with sexy hips! Although, Hula isn't just about the hips, each song tells a story and you will learn to communicate it through various hand gestures and arm movements. In this class, you will be guided through the basic steps of Hula, which will prepare you for the choreography. You will be learning both "Kahiko”, "Auana" and “Hapa Haole” Hula styles.

Tahitian Dance
In this class you will learn the basics of Tahitian dance and choreographies on traditional Tahitian songs and drum dances. You will learn both fast O’tea dance and slow and sensual Aparima styles of dancing A little bit of the culture of the wonderful Tahiti will be introduced. Tahitian beats and rhythms are one of most invigorating and exciting on the planet. Try it once and you will get hooked.
What to wear
A sarong is recommended or if you do not have one, a skirt is OK. Bare feet OK.

Hip Shake Dance Fit
Are you ready for a hip shaking work out? Experience Klub Raks unique dance fitness class with movements from various dance forms put together to the most funky music that is out there. You will be moving your whole body in sync with the music and get fit whilst dancing. You will learn a funky choreography every 4 classes. You will never know if you never try.
What to wear
Loose clothing and ballet flat or bare feet ok too.

Hip Hop/Funk
This class starts with warm up, stretch and isolation. You will learn some Hip Hop steps as well as popping and locking and how to integrate these moves in to a simple choreography. This class is open for everyone.
What to wear
Street gear that you can move easily in, must wear street/runners or dance shoes, also be prepared to sweat.

Flamenco Dance
Whether you are a keen flamenco dancer, an absolute beginner or just fancy some exercise, we have classes that cater for all levels. Flamenco classes are intense, and yet fun and relaxed which always unite technique with choreography — so they are never boring. All major flamenco dance forms are covered in the dance courses, such as the ever-so-popular sevillanas, bulerías, tangos, fandangos de huelva, solea, alegrías, tientos and seguiríyas.
What to wear
Women should wear a close fitting top and comfortable pants/long skirt that don’t restrict movement. Men should wear a comfortable shirt/jeans or other comfortable pants. The most important article of flamenco-wear is your shoes. If you don't already have Flamenco shoes we recommend you invest in a good pair.
