At Klub Raks we don’t dance, we are the dance!!!


Klub Raks was founded by Ms. ‘Jenna’ Janaki in 2008. Klub Raks’ goal is to bring quality dancing, performing, education and event/party planning, production, all under one roof. Our dance classes are of very high standard and yet in a fun and friendly atmosphere. We also teach in venues outside our studio. We are more than happy to teach workshops/dance classes, give private lessons to individuals, corporations anywhere else in Hong Kong, Macau and China. We also provide educational workshops to schools and educational institutes in dance, music, history and culture.

Dance Instruction
Klub Raks is a professional dance studio in Hong Kong that specialises in teaching adults, teens and kids to dance. Even if you have never danced before, or have had some timeout since you last took dance classes, no worries, just come along and try our dance classes. At Klub Raks you are guaranteed to get quality and world class instruction from not only the best instructors in Hong Kong, but also from Master Instructors from around the world. We teach Bellydance or Oriental Dance or Raks Sharqi, Middle Eastern folklore dances (Saidi, Baladi, Shamadan, Melaya Leff and Dabka/Dabkeh) Bellydance Fusion, Tribal Fusion, Samba Fusion, Indian/Bollywood, Polynesian dances (Hawaiian Hula, Tahitian O’tea and Aparima), Hip Hop and Flamenco dance styles all under one roof. We have a very flexible and value for money dance packages that suits your time schedules and your budgets.

Dance Performances
We provide professional performers to perform at your next event whether it is intimate and small, big corporate event or a theatre show. All our shows are designed for family environments, you can watch our shows with your family and friends. All our dancers are professionally trained to handle every kind of event. (however, we don’t perform for all male only events, bachelor parties and events associated with weight loss products.)

Music Band
We at Klub Raks has a Arabic band named Baladi Beats. The band consists of a Keyboard Player, Trumpet Player, Drum Kit Player, Guitarist and Arabic instrumentalists to play dumbek/darbuka (Goblet shaped, Middle Eastern Drums), Tar (Frame Drum), Mazar (Middle Eastern tambourine), Riq (Middle Eastern Tamborine) and Finger Cymbals
